Thermal Block is a peel and stick mat made of highly reflective foil and organic fibers designed to face the heat source. This 3 layer composite heat shield is installed on the engine side of the firewall and between the underside of the transmission or exhaust.
Prepared surface must be free from oils, dirt, dust, or grease. Minimum installation temperatures 65 degrees F.

Noise Reduction Uses
The organic fibrous core, will reduce some airborne sound waves.
For increased acoustical results first install Damplifier Pro vibration mat and then install Thermal Block.
Thermal Insulation
Designed to reflect heat. Thermal Block withstands up to 800 degrees F. Made of a reflective aluminum surface, a non-needled, non-woven carbon fiber insulation layer and a high heat pressure sensitive adhesive.

Is Thermal Block self-adhesive?
Yes, it utilizes a high heat peel and stick adhesive.
Where NOT to install Thermal Block?
The interior of you car is NOT a good place to install Thermal Block as it must be facing the heat sourse.

Solvent Resistance Test: Resistant to Water, Salt Solution, Oil, Sulfiric Acid, Coolant, Trans Fluid, Brake Fluid, and Gasoline.
Flammability Test: Passes FMVSS302
