Product Description

Luxury Liner Pro is our best automotive noise barrier. Luxury Liner Pro is a mass loaded vinyl with a high density closed cell foam infused in one product to both decouple air borne waves and block them out. LLP is a dense barrier layer that is effective in tackling those stubborn air borne noises like engine noise, exhaust drone, and ambient noises from everywhere. Another added bonus of Luxury Liner Pro is its very effective thermal capabilities, LLP will keep the cold air of the air conditioner inside of your ride and keep the hot outside air out of the vehicle (vise versa in the winter time) with its very high R Value. Apply this mass loaded vinyl barrier on top of a vibration damper like our Damplifier Pro mat, in order to block airborne sound waves & create luxury car silence. Words like vault, tomb, and chamber will come to mind when you step your project up to the next level of Luxury Liner Pro, this product does the job of blocking out sound better then any other product available.

If your goal is tomb-like silence, Luxury Liner Pro is a must!!!

Caution: Closed Cell Foam should not be used in engine bays or within 2" of any heat source. The polyurethane foam on Luxury Liner Pro is self extinguishing as is required by the automotive industry and passes all fire and safety standards.

Adhesives That Work With Luxury Liner Pro:

Specification

Sheet size =  24" x 54" (9 sq. feet)
Thickness =  Approximately 1/4"
Mass/Area = 1.0 lbs. per sq foot
Total weight per sheet = 9 lbs. per sheet

* Requires contact spray adhesive (1 can per 4 sheets)

**NOTE** Due to the weight of the high quality mass loaded vinyl we use in this product, you may have issues applying it to the underside of horizontal surfaces, such as the ceiling of your car. if you are worried about these issues, we recommend MegaZorbe or Heat Wave Pro as an excellent alternative! Enjoy your new more luxurious ride!

Noise Reduction Uses...

Luxury Liner Pro is designed to go on top of our vibration dampers to filter out, and block the transfer of the most difficult airborne sound waves. When used on top of Damplifier or Damplifier Pro, Luxury Liner Pro can help make any car quiet as a brand new luxury vehicle.

The mass loaded vinyl barrier is very flexible and exceeds the industry standard for noise reduction uses.
The closed cell foam decoupler is waterproof and extremely limp, allowing for easier installation and better noise reduction.

The two components are not glued together, rather they are melted together for a perfect and permanent bond, stronger than any vinyl adhesive can provide.

Mobile Audio

The quieter your car is, the louder and cleaner your stereo system will appear to be.  The less noise your audio system has to fight with, the more music you hear.

Because Luxury Liner Pro does such a good job at killing road noise, engine noise and exhaust drone, the stereo has less sonic territory to fight for. With less unwanted noise the vehicle, the music has nothing to compete with so it sounds louder to the listener.

Thermal Insulation

Although Luxury Liner pro is designed to kill road, engine and exhaust noise, it also reduces heat very well. So well infact that it is the most popular mat we sell for blocking heat inside the cabin of the car.

For best thermal-acoustic insulation results, apply a layer of Luxury Liner Pro on top of our cld vibration damper, Damplifier Pro inside the car.
There is no better combination of product for reducing unwanted heat in the automotive industry!

FAQ

What is Luxury Liner Pro?
Luxury Liner Pro is our Mass Loaded Vinyl Barrier - MLV
MLV noise barriers like Luxury Liner Pro go on top of CLD vibration damping mats like our CLD sound deadener mats Damplifier or Damplifier Pro to block out the airborne sound waves from tires, exhaust and engine nosie.

Which side of the MLV Luxury Liner Pro does the adhesive get applied to?
The Second Skin Contact Adhesive should always go on the foam side of Luxury Liner Pro MLV. The foam side should then get applied on top of the foil side of our CLD sound deadener Damplifier or Damplifier Pro. The vinyl side of MLV Luxury Liner Pro will always face the passengers in the car.

What is the difference between Luxury Liner and Luxury Liner Pro?Both MLV noise barrier products reduce airborne noise.
Both incorporate a heavy Mass Loaded Vinyl arrier, but use different sound absorbing foam decouplers. Regular Luxury Liner is bonded to an open celled foam while Luxury Liner Pro is bonded to a closed cell foam. The purpose of the foam on MLV noise barriers is two part. First, it elevates the MLV vinyl off of the CLD sound deadener, acting as a decoupler helping to slow down the transfer of airborne noise.

Second, the foam decoupler on the MLV noise barrier filters out high range airborne sound waves, helping to increase the overall sound deadening and noise damping results of the mass loaded vinyl barrier.

Why does Luxury Liner Pro come with a foam decoupler pre attached to this mass loaded vinyl?
When you buy our MLV noise barrier Luxury Liner Pro, the foam is already attached to the vinyl. This saves you one more step during the install process. It also saves you the hassle of buying a toxic 3rd party vinyl adhesive.
We chemically melt the foam to the MLV vinyl so that there is no chance of the foam delamiating from the MLV vinyl.

  1. Easy and Effective 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Aug 2016

My son and I installed the Luxury Liner Pro and new carpet in our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in 3.5 hours. Fantastic results.

I recommend using pieces of cardboard as templates for cutting the liner into shapes. Utility knife and kitchen shears easily did the job.

  2. This stuff really works! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jul 2015

I purchased this product for the doors in my 2013 Toyota Sienna van. The car has a horrendous amount of road noise. I used this and the damplifier pro and the doors are considerably quieter. The only problem is now I can hear the noise from other places in the car. I will be purchasing more for those areas soon. I would recommend this.

  3. Could it have helped? 4 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Jun 2015

Well I did 100% coverage of damp pro and luxury liner pro on my floor of my 96 accord. From the firewall to the trunk. I was really hoping it would make my car quiet on the highway. I haven't listened to my system since then as I have been rebuilding. But I don't think I'd use this product again. Could it have helped? Sure... Did I notice a $500 difference? Not even close. I knew deadening was a diminishing returns venture but I'd invest in more CDL and more CCF if I could do it again. It cut great, it was a little thick and my interior took some persuading to get back in but it's in there and it's not coming out. Maybe I just had mostly wind noise and not road noise so therefore the product couldn't do as much as it was hyped up to do. I'd make sure your noise problem is from the road or exhaust before you invest the time and money for sure if I could give any advise.

  4. Performs as advertised. 5 Star Review

Covered 50% of area with Damplifer and then 100% area with Luxury Liner Pro and got great results. Measure twice and cut once! It is work to cut and trim to fit all the contours and uneven surfaces but product was easy enough to work with using quality heavy scissors and box cutter. Product is heavy but adhered well to horizontal and limited overhead surfaces with quality interior spay adhesive. Did not eliminate all the tire noise but did not expect since my Mustang has 295/30R20 Toyo's. But definitely work the time and money and really improved stereo and ride quality.

  5. Not done yet 5 Star Review

I've installed 2 sheets of LLP in the rear of my 99 K2500 Suburban. Haven't even reinstalled the interior or the new carpet and already there is a major improvement in sound quality. 6 more sheets to go to complete the rest of the rig and my ears can't wait. My goal is to make this beast more comfortable to drive over extended periods of time. The quieter the ride the more relaxed the drive. This has already been accomplished and I'm not half way done. Can't wait to finish it up and reap the benefits.

  6. Silence is golden 5 Star Review

Installed luxury liner pro in my sprinter van and what a noticeable reduction is sound. Very happy.

  7. Worth the effort 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Feb 2014

I used this stuff in my 2011 Mustang GT as the factory uses very little insulation which causes road noise along with poor sound system quality. Many change out the speakers but just using this product made this unnecessary. My wife noticed a large difference on the first ride. I only did this in the trunk, under the rear seat, and quarter panels after covering about 70% with DAMPLIFIER PRO. I figure it added 50 pounds but the weight is over the rear wheels which needs more traction anyways.

  8. Excellent product & easy to use as well. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2014

This product works extremely well. Its very easy to cut and install and really dampens the noise and makes it much quieter inside of the vehicle. We previously did a '69 Camaro pro-touring car, a '67 Chevelle cruiser car, and are now doing a '62 Corvette project. What a difference! :)

  9. Excellant Product! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Jul 2013

Just finished laying Luxury Liner Pro over some Damplifier, the results are amazing. I installed it in a 2005 GMC Canyon crew cab, so there was very little insulation to begin with.

I layed the LLP over the entire floor and back wall of the cab. It's amazing how much quieter all of the under-the-truck sounds are. Plus with it getting up there in age, there are a lot of squeeks and ratlles developing. It did a great job of eliminating and/or reducing the noise from them.

The material cuts easily and can even do compound curves pretty well with some relief cuts. A set of gasket punches works great for punching bolt holes in it.

  10. Don't get no better... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Apr 2013

Laid the pro down over regular damplifier and works like a charm. It is also THICK, which is what makes it the best. Easily cut with sharp razor knife. Will be getting more in the future.
